  • NBCC (India) Limited provides value added services. 
  • The company operates through three segments: Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Real Estate Development, and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC). PMC segment is engaged in civil construction projects, infrastructure works for the national security, infrastructure projects for the civil sector, and project implementation for Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) and developmental work in Northeastern Region

  • In terms of execution, redevelopment projects typically take 4-5 years to complete, while PMC projects are usually finished within 1.5-2 years.

  • Notably, NBCC has been engaged in several high-profile redevelopment projects on behalf of the central government, particularly in Delhi. Recently, NBCC was appointed as the project management consultant for completing 16 real estate projects by Supertech Ltd, valued at nearly Rs 9,500 crore. This project will provide relief to thousands of homebuyers, as NBCC steps in to complete stalled projects of the Amrapali Group as well.

  • State-owned NBCC aims to expand its business reach and secure additional projects, including major real estate developments.

  • In a regulatory filing, NBCC stated that the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) had appointed it as the Project Management Consultant for the completion of 16 Supertech projects, totaling 49,748 houses across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Karnataka. The construction cost of these projects is estimated at around Rs 9,445 crore, and NBCC’s consultancy fee for the projects is set at 8%, including a 1% marketing fee. The projects are expected to be completed within three years, with no liability for NBCC.
